It is designed to be very safe. we have owned the Futura 7 liter for about 15 years and use it 2 or 3 times a week. It cooks meats that are tender and juicy, even cheap cuts, and my wife cooks all sorts of other things in it. It is wonderful for stew. Brown rice cooks much faster and comes out very nice. You can eat healthier and save money with one of these.
