Amazon isn't giving these things away, but it's worth the money on esthetic and practical grounds.Update two years on: As solid as these look, the plastic parts get brittle with repeated use, and will require replacement. Fissler commits to making parts available for ten years after the purchase date, so the expected lifetime of the cooker is probably not much more than that. I still like this, but I can't consider it a good value for money.
When you do need to buy replacement parts, I advise you to buy from fisslerstore in North Carolina - they are businesslike. The warranty agent in Los Angeles is unreliable.
