Kalorik MW 26146 Steam Microwave Oven with Real Convection Review

(More customer reviews)I needed a new microwave and since I have limited space I liked that this oven served several purposes. I even waited a couple of months for it. I did try to find more info but found little on the internet and it wasn't available at a local store. My first impression when I opened it was how cheep it looked. The outside in mostly plastic. I worry each time I fill the water tank or empty the waste water tank that they will break and cost a fortune to replace. I haven't cleaned the steam generator yet but it requires decalcification every 20 uses and compartment is opening required a screwdriver. Cleaning instructions also direct cleaning 9 holes with a soft cloth & vinegar and I can't find the holes referred to. When I opened the door it scraped (I think the parts were not smooth finished). The controls are not intuitive and I find them difficult. The cooking instruction take up 19 pages. When I used the microwave function there was a annoying rattling noise. I contacted customer service via email and after suggesting several obvious causes they went to the warehouse to check and found it to be normal. When you microwave most things you are hit with steam when you open the door. Also the power is low so things take longer. I don't use the other items as often as I thought I would. It is just easier to do these functions the standard way. The convection function doest seem to save time. The inside cavity is not large and many item I use to use in the microwave I can no long use. The window is not as clear as the picture indicates. I would return it if I could. I will never buy another item online that costs this much without an unlimited satisfaction guarantee including shipping costs.

The coating can separate from the pan and be forcefully propelled from the pan. I had no idea until now. I bought two sets from HSN and they never notified the customers that the product was dangerous. The Ultrex company went out of business as soon as they realized the product was unsafe so that they would not have to cover the lifetime warranty. As usual, HSN claims no responsibility for endangering lives. Furthermore, it is illegal to resell a recalled product. Please do not buy or use this product.

I loved it ... until it started malfunctioning. Often ... but not always ... after about 2 hours it puts itself back into a boil and percolate cycle again.
I've contacted the seller about the problem ... but gotten no response so far. So much as I love the coffee pot I can't recommend it at this point.

King Kooker 60-Quart Aluminum Boiling Pot Review

(More customer reviews)A 60-quart pot is the perfect size for steaming a full, packed bushel of blue crabs on an outdoor propane burner. The KK-60 is a heavy-duty aluminum version that is well-made, has a nice-fitting lid, and heavy-duty riveted handles. The included boiling basket is also ideal for large seafood boils and frying very large turkeys. At last inquiry, King Kooker does not make a steamer plate for this pot, so for steaming crabs, you'll need to raise the included basket a few inches with either stainless steel carriage bolts or some other kind of spacer (there's plenty of room under the lid).
Aluminum pots used for steaming crabs will pit eventually due to the salt, so to prolong its life, you'll want to wash it immediately after each use. In the long run, a stainless version like the Bayou Classic 1060, 60-Qt. Stainless Fryer/Steamer with Vented Lid is the way to go, and I've seen the Bayou Classic sold with and without a basket. This King Kooker does do a fine job at a reasonable price; and it's of course lighter in weight.
I have seen two versions of the KK-60 sold locally that were both 60 quarts but were slightly different dimensions. The photo shown above is actually a much smaller (15qt?) pot.

Expedition 3X Triple Burner Stove Review

(More customer reviews)We've camped and cooked for years using an ancient 2 burner Coleman and I'd been wanting to move up to a three burner stove for a very long time...I was sure I wanted the Coleman and was ready to pull the trigger when a friend recommended that I look at a Camp Chef. I was like "Are you sure?," and my friend replied "All I know is that my girlfriends dad likes them so much that he has two of them!"
I happened to find this model last year at Costco for about the same price as it is here. This price is a great deal, plus it comes with the two burner griddle which all by itself is worth seventy bucks. So you're basically getting a great three-burner stove for about a hundred bucks. Sweet deal.
Ok, it is heavy, but that just shows that it's very solidly built. The legs easily assemble with thumbscrews, slide the windscreen in place and screw the propane hose on and you're ready to cook. It comes with a couple of nice little accessories, the paper towel holder and the tool rack. The 30,000 btu burners put out a prodigious amount of heat...maybe too much heat (precise control can be a little dicey, which is why I only gave it four stars). Let's just say that plastic pancake turners may have a shortened life expectancy.
I used the stove all summer and into the winter and it's as good as new. I expect it to last for decades...just like that ancient Coleman that's been retired to the shed.

(More customer reviews)Gorgeous sturdy pot! Exactly what I was looking for and what I got. Nice and roomy for all my cooking stuffs and Lord knows I like that. Its also not heavy, but it's sturdy and not cheap! Lid fits nicely to form a clean seal. I have made many a nice meal in it, including Spicy Sicilian Chicken which requires a full 5lb chicken among many other things and that was no match for my lovely new pot!
Clean up is a so easy, no stains, the pot literally wipes right up! I use my pot on my Ceramic stove top and it really is perfect for it. It fits nicely on the burner. I love that it is stainless steel so as not to mess up my foods tastes or leach any harmful chemicals into my foods!
I feel this is the best bargain for a pot in this category! Its an awesome pot that anyone would be proud to own. Use, then store or display, it looks nice on my ceramic stove top and functions perfectly. Couldn't ask for better.
Do be aware of your dimensions regarding clearance from your stove top to whatever maybe above your stove, your microwave, range hood or kitchen cabinets. We have a microwave above our kitchen stove top and although the clearance is plenty fine, when removing the lid I still banged into the microwave's base of the door a couple times.
